Dublin South Regional President
opens Bankers Congress
The Bankers congress was opened in style by the President of the Dublin South Region Micheál O'Briain
who welcomed everybody to the congress and wished them well.
The club club has run a congress every year for as long as anyone can remember and it is now the only surviving congress in Dublin.
The congress kicked off with the Ladies and Mens pairs competitions and remarkably we had the exact same entry in each competition
The Bankers club held off all challengers to win both competitions

Thursday, 13th March

Mixed Pairs Competition
The congress continued with the mixed pairs competition which had a very good entry of 39 pairs and again the winners Brendan and Helen Sheridan had a very good score of 65%.
This is the third time for Brendan and Helen to win this competition having last won it in 2006
Second place went to our regional President Micheál O'Briain
