Congress Opens
The 43rd Bankers Bridge congress is up and running,
The Congress was opened by Dublin South President Thomas MacCormac who thanked the Bankers club
for their work by promoting bridge in the Dublin region for so many years.
He wished everyone well and good luck to all for the week ahead.
The congress kicked off with the Intermediate A and B pairs

The mixed pairs competition had a super entry of fifty five pairs.
It was a great night for Brid Kemple playing with Terry Walsh who won her second
event of the congress and now has a slim lead in the Grand Prix.
Scoring was very close with only a single matchpoint separating the top two pairs.
