Bankers Golf Outing
Edmondstown was the venue for this years annual golf outing . The weather was excellent and the course was in superb condition so everything was in place for a very enjoyable day
16 players took part and scoring was very close with only two points separating the top four players. Again the top seeds did not disappoint all finishing at the top of the leaderboard. Gerry Lawlor was the winner this year this will be a new name on the trophy he takes over from Paul Hanratty who had won the competition for the past two seasons

Joe Walsh wins our
Presidents Prize
Joe Walsh has won our Presidents prize for the second year running.
In a very exciting finish where Joe did his best to give everyone a chance to catch him by failing to score on the last night we all came up short thus handing him the prize.
The competition was very well run and supported by the members well done to all.
Ten tables played this week in the Presidents prize but none of the chasing pack managed enough points to catch our leader.

Week Four
An excellent twelve tables played this week in the Presidents prize and it proved to be a very good one for Joe Walsh, while he did not win all of the top spots this week were taken by players who had a small number of points overall, so he now becomes the bookies favourite to win the overall competition next week.
Scoring was again very high remarkably this is the third week in a row where the winners had a 65% + score

The Presidents prize was blown wide open this week with our leader Joe Walsh failing to get any points allowing the chasing pack to catch up. We had ten and a half tables in play and again some difficult hands
This week Paula Tolan claimed another win, this time with Paul Hanratty which means we now have a three way tie at the top of the overall leaderboard

Week One
Our Presidents prize got underway this week with a superb entry of thirteen and a half tables. Our President Sheila Horkan thanked everyone for supporting the event and wished everyone the best of luck over the next five weeks.
The winner will be the player with the best four scores out of five weeks
last years winner Joe Walsh was again to the fore with a win on the first night,but with four nights still left everyone is still in the race.
Earlier Sheila hosted a dinner for the past Presidents of the club, this inaugural event was a wonderful idea and a very enjoyable occasion.

This week we had the first session of the Joe McHale Memorial mixed teams.
As a number of our players are involved with the Lady Milne trophy this weekend we
had a very good entry of eleven teams, well done to Ann Hanratty who organised a
number of teams.
The first week was quite decisive with the four leading teams opening a significant gap on the rest of the field.

This novel competition is always exciting with players entering as a pair with a seeded draw done on the night before play to determine teammates
